Ginger cultivation in Basta, Bhairab Upazila.
Benefits of Ginger:
1.No separate land is required for cultivation.Also, there is no risk of flooding or flooding.
2. After one crop is harvested, another crop can be grown separately without any fertilizer. There is no cost.
3.In this method on the one hand attack of soil borne diseases reduces a lot, on the other hand in case of natural calamities sacks can be shifted to other places.
4.It can be placed in the backyard, near the wall or in the open space around the house or on the roof where you like. It does not require any special land or resources.
5.This method can be used especially in shady areas. Usually, no crops are grown under the bamboo plantation. As a result, the place is deserted. Ginger can be grown in sacks in that bamboo garden.
6. 1.5 - 2 kg of ginger is obtained from one sack.
